SSG Landers left-hander Han Doo-sol, who successfully finished his first full-time season last year, looks higher.

During the 2024 season, Han posted an ERA of 5.01 with two wins, one loss and three holds in 59 ⅓ innings in 69 games. He played the third most games in his team after veteran Noh Kyung-eun (77 games) and fireballer Cho Byung-hyun (76 games).먹튀검증

As recently as the previous season, Han Du-sol had not shown any significant performance. A graduate of Gwangju Soochang Elementary School, Jinheung Middle School, and Gwangju Jeil High School, Han Du-sol went on to go to Oshay Lysheisha College in Japan and played for a pro baseball team. He entered the professional league as a nurturing player after being called by KT Wiz in 2018, but he was notified of his release in late 2018 without playing a single game in the first team.

Han Doo-sol, who did not give up, took the opportunity when he passed the SSG entry test in June 2021. However, due to the long hiatus, he focused on raising his sense of play in the Futures League (second division) in 2021, and spent a lot of time in the Futures League in 2022-2023.

Han Du-sol received many opportunities from the beginning of the last season. "I don't know how last year went by," Han Doo-sol said. "I don't think there was a moment that didn't matter every moment. At first, I went to the game without knowing anything and kept throwing it, but at some point, I think I had a lot of thinking," Han said. "At that time, Ji-young advised me not to think about anything else like the beginning of the season, but to just throw it after looking at the meat, so I think there was a good synergy."

As for the evaluation that his change-up has improved, he said, "Coach Song Sung-young told me his (change-up) grip last year, and he threw it once or twice in practice to strike out. However, since then, he has only thrown it when practicing, and continued to practice while pitching this year. I think it's okay," he said. "I'm trying to throw the change-up like a fastball as much as possible. Coach Kyung Heon-ho told me that I have to throw it the same as my fastball to trick the batter, so I'm training with that in mind the most."

Han Doo-sol is currently engaged in the first spring camp at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) in Vero Beach, Florida. With the camp turning the halfway point, Han says he is satisfied with his performance.

"First of all, my strike rate has improved. It was the point I paid the most attention to and it was the direction I wanted. I tried to do as much image training as possible, and I pitched by paying attention to the direction of throwing as well as the pitching form," Han said. "And I'm trying to get strikes at the first pitch as much as possible."

"Han Du-sol has thrown for one season last year. His pitching form is wild, so I think it will be a little difficult for batters to cope with, and his ball control needs to be improved," pitching coach Kyung Heon-ho said. "I think I am gaining a lot of confidence after going through the camp."

Han Du-sol's goal for the 2025 season is double-digit holds. "My biggest goal is to play double-digit holds. If I record double-digit holds, I think my team will be able to advance to the top ranks. And I want to play more innings or games than last year. That's how I set my goal because playing in games and throwing more innings can help my team," he said.

"I don't know what will happen when I enter the game, so I always prepare well and I want to be a player who I can trust and use at any time so that the coach and coach can know that I am well prepared," he said.
